God of War Ragnarok Selected as the Best Game Exclusive to PlayStation

In the comprehensive fan voting organized by Sony, God of War Ragnarok, which is considered the most popular series of PlayStation, was chosen as the best game exclusive to PlayStation.

PlayStation fans have raised their voices and declared God of War Ragnarok the best exclusive game the console maker has released in recent years. While the "March Madness" excitement continues, Sony organized a tournament pitting games from the PlayStation 5 era against each other. This tournament also revealed the fans' perspective on PlayStation's various series.

Sony shared the final results of the tournament on its social media account. A total of 16 PlayStation-exclusive games such as Uncharted 4, The Last of Us, Marvel's Spider-Man and Ghost of Tsushima were included in the tournament, which started on March 11. In the last round, God of War and God of War Ragnarok faced each other. God of War Ragnarok won with 52% of the votes from a jury of 39,000 voters .

Interesting Notes from the Tournament:

• The last eight games have consisted of just five different series.
• Both God of War and Ragnarok were in the top eight, while Marvel's Spider-Man and The Last of Us Part 1 & Part 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding were also in the top eight.
• Despite being extremely popular, both Spider-Man games failed to advance to the “Final Four,” losing to The Last of Us and Ghost of Tsushima.

God of War's Domination: Even considering this small sample size, God of War is by far the most popular PlayStation series. This result is also confirmed by the sales figures of God of War and Ragnarok. All in all, the God of War series looks like a long-term investment for PlayStation, but no clear plans for a new game have yet been announced.
