A new game is coming from the developer of Days Gone!

Days Gone developer Bend Studios announced that it has developed a new game and that this new game will be at AAA level.

Bend Studios, developer of Days Gone, the zombie-themed open world survival and story game that has a truly special place among PlayStation exclusive games, announced that it has developed a new game. Let's take a look at the details together.

Bend Studios' new project will be a "AAA live service" game. A new job posting posted on the studio's website reveals that the team is seeking a new lead project manager with dexterous game development experience having published AAA live service games in leadership roles.

At the same time, this role is seeking someone with significant leadership role experience in transforming traditional 'boxed product' focused game development studios into live service development studios.

Sony's Bend Studios is known for the post-apocalyptic motorcycle and zombie-themed Days Gone, released in 2019. The company announced in June 2022 that it was working on its new project and that it would be multiplayer and develop Days Gone's open world systems.

As such, the Oregon-based studio will likely contribute to Sony's recent ambitions of producing more live service games, though neither Sony nor Bend have officially confirmed this at this time.

A movie adaptation of Days Gone is also coming. The script of the film will be written by Oscar nominee Sheldon Turner, and Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser in Outlander, will play the lead character Deacon St. It is said that he is being considered for the role of John.
