Fortnite's New Season Update: Will Give Players Nostalgia!

Fortnite is going back to the past in its new season. It adds many features for players to experience Greek mythology. Here are the details!

Fortnite is going old school in its new season and bringing the Greek Gods to Battle Royale. Episode 5: Season 2 of the Battle Royale game called "Myths & Mortals" is all about Greek mythology and was released recently.

This means playing like Greek gods, fighting on Mount Olympus and wielding Zeus' lightning. The launch was preceded by a clever in-game event involving Pandora's box.

The first of the new features to the game is locations. A number of mythological locations have been added to the map, including Mount Olympus and the underworld guarded by Cerberus.

In addition, there are a variety of power-ups to collect, including Icarus' Wings, which allow you to fly, Zeus' bolts, which allow you to levitate and shoot lightning bolts at your target, and a gun. The weapon that will be released later will also be called Chains of Hades.

The new season also means a new battle pass. Those who purchase this season will be able to unlock many Greek gods, including Aphrodite, Medusa, and the adorable Slurp Juice version of Poseidon. Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra will also be unlockable later in the season.

Fortnite is undergoing a big change with the release of Myths & Mortals, Episode 5. The Battle Royale mode is still strong, but the new chapter turns Fortnite into a platform for other games as well; Lego Fortnite launched with Rocket Race and Fortnite Festival.

Epic has been pretty busy since then. In February, Disney invested $1.5 billion in the Fortnite developer as part of its plan to build a "vast and open universe of games and entertainment."

Lately, Epic continues to engage with Apple regarding upcoming changes to the App Store.
