Summer Game Fest Returns: Here are the Details

Summer Game Fest will take place in Los Angeles on June 7. Inspired by last year's show, big announcements and surprises are expected this year as well.

Summer Game Fest , organized by Geoff Keighley and one of the events eagerly awaited by the gaming world, returns this summer. With his announcement, Keighley announced that the show will take place on Friday, June 7, at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. As in the past, the live show will be broadcast online via YouTube and Twitch. However, this year, it was stated that tickets will go on sale on May 7 for fans who want to attend the event. Although the details have not been fully disclosed yet, more information is expected to be available as June approaches.

At last year's Summer Game Fest, game lovers witnessed the introduction of important games such as Alan Wake 2 and Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Remarkable games such as Sonic Superstars and John Carpenter's Toxic Commando were also announced for the first time. It was also announced that Nicolas Cage would appear in Dead by Daylight. A trailer from Season 3 of The Witcher was also released to the audience.

It is not yet clear which games will be introduced at this year's Summer Game Fest. Although major games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Helldivers 2 have been released in 2023, it seems that PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox are focusing on 2025 in 2024.
