Wolfeye Studios Announces They Are Working on a Sci-Fi RPG

Raphaël Colantonio , co-founder of Arkane Studios , announced the next project of Wolfeye Studios , known for the games developed so far . Colantonio, along with his Wolfeye Studios colleague Julien Roby, introduced the new game at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) event.

Sci-fi RPG: Return to Wolfeye's Roots

Colantonio shared a photo from the Wolfeye Studios office in Austin yesterday, showing the plans for the studio's next game. Although the photo looks like a simple whiteboard, the dots in the upper left corner indicate that Wolfeye is working on a first-person, retro-style sci-fi RPG game.

Arkane and Wolfeye Connection

Colantonio and Roby previously held senior positions at Arkane Studios and worked on important games such as Arx Fatalis , Dishonored and Prey (2017). Building on these experiences, they now continue their own journey at Wolfeye Studios.

An Exciting Future

Wolfeye Studios' first game , Weird West , was released as an isometric RPG set in a dark fantasy world. This game was released in 2022 and was subsequently supported by an updated final version. Weird West received positive reviews in the gaming world and was appreciated by gamers.

Good News for Science Fiction Enthusiasts

Colantonio's and Wolfeye Studios' new sci-fi RPG project is greeted with excitement among game enthusiasts. Especially fans of successful productions such as Prey (2017) are looking forward to the studio developing a new game in this style. More details about Wolfeye Studios' future projects are expected to emerge over time.

Games Sometimes I write songs, but mostly I do engineering. Gaming has always been a part of my life. My game press adventure, full of various articles and videos, still continues. Nintendo and Japanese games are my main area.
