Platform Action Game Nocturnal 2 Announced

Metroidvania sequel Nocturnal 2 , which has been in development by Sunnyside Games, has been officially announced. According to the details, the game will be released for Switch and PC . The PC version of the game will be released via the Steam store and is planned to be released in 2025 .

The first and original game of the series, Nocturnal , was released on June 7 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam. The publishing was undertaken by the Dear Villagers team. Now the same publisher and developer team are continuing their work on the sequel.

Nocturnal 2 Features Hand-Drawn Environments

Nocturnal 2 is preparing to come to us with unique basic features. In the production with hand-drawn sections and environments, you can constantly make new experiments and it is entirely your job to eliminate the enemies. In the game, which will be more detailed than the first game, you can die with a single blow and light the surroundings by flaming your sword.

In the game where you can explore a non-linear world and each player can progress to different areas, we have to progress through the city called Ytash. With the unique fire system, it is very important to keep your flames constantly burning. Because the environment is dark, the flames become our companions. The character we control in the game also has juggling skills, so we can use the flame in the best way.

Finally, Nocturnal 2, which is intended to be presented to us with a 2D animation style, appears with a side-view camera perspective. Both action and platform elements are at the forefront in the game.
