RTX Remix mode is coming for Splinter Cell
As a reminder, RTX Remix, which was first introduced in late 2022 , brings ray tracing, path tracing, and texture upgrades to older titles, bringing them back to life . What's more, with the RTX Remix Toolkit being open source, developers and modders will have more control over the technology.
Returning to Splinter Cell, it looks stunning with its advanced lighting and shadow effects . The video released by mod developer "skurtyyskirts" is almost a seven-man production quality, and when we look at the FPS results, there is no serious performance problem. Of course, there is a lot of room for improvement, such as character animations.
For those who missed it, Ubisoft is already working on a Splinter Cell remake, but it goes without saying that once the mod is complete, it will be the newest way to experience classic Splinter Cell.
