Ubisoft CEO confirms Assassin's Creed Remake projects are in the works

Released in 2007 for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 , Assassin's Creed quickly became popular. Ubisoft continued this success with productions such as Assassin's Creed 2 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and in later years transformed the series into a huge universe. The company, which has released many AC games since 2007, will soon renew the old productions and put them back on sale.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot spoke about the future of the Assassin's Creed series in a recent interview . Yves said, "First of all, players can get excited about some remakes, so we can revisit some games that we've created in the past and modernize them; some of the worlds in our old Assassin's Creed games are still very rich," and announced that some old Assassin's Creed games will be remastered . Old AC games that will be remastered with modern gameplay mechanics and graphics could help the series become popular again.
